Project Admin Assistant
Type: Permanent Location: Garstang, Preston, Lancs Salary: Negotiable
We are looking for an assistant to the Project Manager to join our Installations department. This role could suit an experienced field service engineer who was looking to move to a more senior, office-based role, supporting and assisting the engineering team with all their electrical installations and repairs, alternatively it could suit a candidate with a QS type background, or possibly a graduate trainee with an interest in project management.
This role would involve the administration of the full commercial project management aspects of a turn key installation. Liasing with suppliers and customers under the supervision of the Project Manager with regards to matters such as delivery dates, providing risk assessments and method statements, ensuring financial controls and records are in place with regards to obtaining orders for any additional works, invoicing and customer payments, ordering materials to enable our engineers to complete the works on site, working with our operations team to secure engineering resources to carry out site works etc.
You would be based in our service and operations department at Preston and would report to our Project Manager. This is a full time position
