Lancaster On Ice
Date: 04/12/18
When Hannah and Martin Horner dreamed of a frozen Christmas for Lancaster, they pictured much more than the classic Disney movie with Olaf and Sven. They didn’t just want snow, they wanted ice, and lots of it.
This festive season, that dream has become a reality, with a little help from CPS. Lancaster on Ice brings Arendelle to Dalton Square, with a pop up ice rink to put everyone in that festive spirit.
From now right through to twelfth night, visitors can skate away, surrounded by festive lights and a traditional Christmas market, all powered by the dependable, portable power of CPS generators.
“One of the most enjoyable parts of my job is helping people bring their ideas to life,” explained Paul Fielding, Sales Manager for CPS. “Our range of generators mean you can do almost anything, anywhere, from a concert on the beach, to a remote rural wedding, and now an ice rink in the centre of town.
“We’ve been delighted to work with the Horners on the Lancaster on Ice project, and we look forward to building that relationship year on year. They have great plans for the future and our scalable solutions can grow with them to really put Christmas in Lancaster on the map.”
Whatever you’ve got planned this festive season and in the New Year, CPS can help you get your skates on and make it happen.
