Service Administration - Job Planner
Type: Permanent Location: Garstang Head Office Salary: Negotiable
Due to the continued increase in the level of maintenance contracts our service administration team are looking to recruit an assistant to help with forward planning of engineer service visits.
The position involves liaising with clients to agree service dates, providing necessary admin paperwork as required by the client, helping to populate the engineering calendar for future agreed service visit dates. The position also involves understanding the varying skill sets of the engineers and matching these skills to the job requirements.
The service office is a very busy hive of activity, and arrangements are all subject to constant change as we prioritise emergency calls over planned work. This necessitates keeping the client up to date with any changes and the ability to multitask.
The position requires competent computer skills, an ability to learn and understand our CRM system, solid experience with Excel, planning skills, good telephone communication skills and an ability to prioritise jobs as they arise. The work can be frustrating at times due to the need to re prioritise emergency work over planned work, so a cheerful and positive attitude is a bonus.
